During this winter month, we will be experiencewinter – we will bring the snow inside the
classroom. The children will begin to explore
the concept of wet/dry, hot/cold, melting, etc. as
we play with the snow and do some ice cube
painting. We will watch the snow melt – like
magic! Oh, my! We can’t forget to build a
snowman! We will be reading books like “Polar
Bear, Polar Bear” and learning songs like
“Frosty, the Snowman” and finger plays such as
“Five Little Snowflakes.” “5 Little Polar Bears”.
